Green Events

Garden Party offers plant rentals for events, photo shoots, and staging and we make every effort to do our part to create green events.

• recycle all flower packaging paper and cardboard as well as compost all our green waste on site
• will source locally raised flowers, organic flowers, or VeriFlora certified (which means they aren’t drenched in chemicals or grown under unacceptable conditions)
• decorate with branches, grasses, grains, greens, berries, fruit, fabric, candles, lanterns, or rented live potted plants
• arrange to re-purpose decorations when possible and move them from the ceremony to the reception
• donate the leftover flowers or arrangements to an old folks home at the end of the day

We also offer green/sustainable alternatives for favors:

• organic or local food items
• attractive bags of fresh or dried organic herbs
• seeds in a commemorative container
• a small potted plant which can be later planted in your yard
• place cards made of seeded paper that can be planted at home
